## Integration with Bolder

To provide more accurate data, get consistent reports with more exact metrics, and avoid duplicate events in the DataLayer, changes were made to these components of Bolder stores.

## Changes made

- Among the main changes, access to the Google Analytics 4 and Tag Manager addons was limited, to avoid duplicate events in Google's dataLayer.
- Events are added to the DataLayer if Google Tag Manager is used on its own, so they can be used from the parameters view of its own panel.
- The Purchase event was changed to recalculate prices and discounts, to be more accurate and consistent in Google Analytics 4 reports and metrics.

## Things to consider when managing Google on your Bolder store

- **If you are using both Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager:**

If you are currently working with both platforms, you must set up Analytics events from Google Tag Manager to avoid duplicate data.

- **If you only use Analytics:**

You can do everything directly in the Google Analytics platform, making sure the Google Tag Manager addon is inactive on your Bolder store. [Here](https://panel.onbolder.com/admin/features) you can check that it is turned off.
