The **Quote flow** lets you offer a more flexible shopping experience, giving your customers the option to buy directly or request a quote before paying.

When a customer creates a quote, it becomes available in the admin panel so you can review it, make any necessary adjustments, and approve it. Once accepted, the quote turns into an order ready to be paid, keeping the flow simple for both the customer and the store administration.

## Activation and initial setup

To h

1.  Go to the **Admin panel**.
2.  Go to **Preferences > Purchase options**.
3.  Turn on the **Enable quote flow** option.
4.  (Optional) Turn on **Allow quotes without stock limit** if you want customers to be able to request quotes for out-of-stock products.

> **Important:** When you enable this feature, the store will allow both direct purchases and quote requests. Customers can choose the option that best fits their needs.
