## Create orders from the Bolder admin panel

If you have customers who need to place orders but *can't always do it themselves*, Bolder lets you enter orders directly from the admin.

It is ideal for offline sales, personalized support, and in-person or assisted sales, and it lets you keep all your sales in one place.

You can create a new order from `Orders > Create new`, or by opening a customer's details > `New order for customer`

Creating a new order is intuitive. At each step you fill in the information the same way a customer would in the online store.

## Steps to create a new order

### Step 1: Choose a delivery method

**Shipping:**

If the customer has saved addresses, you can choose one of them. If they don't have one, or need a different one, you can add it.

When you choose the shipping address, you will also need to choose the location or store that will ship the order, so the stock is deducted from the right warehouse.

Finally, you will need to select a shipping option for the order that matches the options available for the destination address and the shipping location.

**Store pickup:**

You need to choose the location or store where the customer will pick up the order, along with the details of the person who will collect it (name and ID).

### Step 2: Search for and add products.

At the top, you will see a table with the information set in the first step, the customer's details and the options selected for their order.

Now you need to search for the products that will be part of the order. You can search by name or SKU. Here you can choose the product variant and the number of units for the order.

> **Info**
>
> If you work with **Customer groups** and **Price lists**, you can add the products available to that customer along with their assigned purchase settings.

### Step 3: Payment method

In this step you can **apply promo codes** that apply to the order.

Then **choose the payment method** the customer will use to pay.

By default, the option to notify the customer about this new order is selected, but you can turn it off if you don't need it.

Here you need to choose the type of purchase document before continuing.

If you are issuing invoices:

- If the customer already exists in your database and has entered their billing details before, those details are saved and will be shown by default - *The address details on the document can't be edited from this feature.*
- If this is the first time an invoice will be issued and there are no saved details, you will need to fill in all the fields. Once the order is created, the billing details will be saved for future orders.

### Step 4: Submit the order

Now that all the information is entered, just check that the information, products and order details are correct, then submit the order.

At this point you can notify the customer, so they receive the order URL directly and can continue with the payment.

Once the order is submitted, you can create another new order or review the order you just entered.

In the admin, you can identify orders entered this way by their remote sale icon.

**Creating orders from the Bolder panel makes it easier to manage your sales and makes sure your customers get attention, even when they can't place their orders on their own.**
