The Meta product catalog is a tool that lets you sync the products in your Bolder store with Facebook and Instagram. Once it's set up, your items are available to show in dynamic ads, in your Facebook page's shop and in Instagram product tags, without having to upload each item to Meta by hand.

The connection works through a data source, also called a product feed, which is a URL generated automatically by Bolder. Meta reads that URL to get the latest information in your catalog and reflect any change you make in your store.



## Before you start

To set up the product catalog in Meta, make sure you have the following:

-   **An active Meta Business Suite account** with administrator access.
-   **A catalog created in Meta** in your Commerce Manager account.
-   **Products set to visible** in your Bolder store, so the feed has information available.


## Product feed

The product feed is an XML file that Bolder generates automatically with the information of all the products published in your store. This file contains the data Meta needs to build and update your catalog: product name, description, price, image, availability and a direct link to the product page, among other fields.

Meta reads this file periodically and syncs the changes automatically. This means that every time you update a price, change the stock or publish a new product in Bolder, those changes will show in your Meta catalog without you doing anything else.

> Keep your products up to date in Bolder. Since the feed syncs automatically, any change you make in your store will show in your Meta catalog in the next update cycle.

The URL of your Bolder store's product feed always follows the same format. You only need to replace the first part with your ecommerce domain:

`https://www.tu-tienda.com/feeds/facebook.xml`

For example, if your store's domain is miecommerce.cl, your feed URL will be:

`https://www.miecommerce.cl/feeds/facebook.xml`

Add `/feeds/facebook.xml` to the main URL of your site.

> Important: Before entering the URL in Meta, open it in your browser to check that the file loads correctly. If you see an error or a blank page, make sure your store has published products and that your domain is set up properly.



## Add the feed in Meta Commerce Manager

1.  Go to your catalog in Commerce Manager

Go to business.facebook.com and navigate to Commerce Manager.

Select the catalog you want to connect your Bolder store to.



2.  Add a data source

In your catalog, go to the Data sources section and click Add items. Select the option Use a data feed.



3.  Set up the source with the Bolder URL

Choose the scheduled URL upload option. Enter your Bolder store's feed URL in the matching field and select the update frequency. We recommend setting it to at least once a day to keep your catalog in sync.



4.  Check and save

Meta will validate the URL and read the file to confirm the format is correct. If validation succeeds, save the setup. Your catalog will start syncing with the products in your Bolder store.
