title: "Google Merchant Center"
---

*Google Merchant Center is the tool you need to make your products visible and boost their sales online.*

This platform lets you upload data about your products and your store directly to Google, making them available to millions of users through its search engines.

The right product will be shown to your ideal potential customer, both organically and through campaigns, if you manage your information well.

By uploading detailed, up-to-date information about your products, you improve the data your potential customers see. They'll find your store and your products through ads set up in **Google Ads** or **Google Shopping**, or even through organic Google search.

With this tool you can view performance reports, improve those same results through personalized recommendations, highlight active promotions, and even boost the sales of your products in different markets.

To activate all these features, you need to set up your account and upload your products with the information the platform requires, so that users can find your products and be easily sent to your store.

## Activate and set up your Google Merchant Center account

### Complete your business information

Business information applies to all the features and tools you use in Merchant Center.

In "*Edit business details"* provide real, accurate information about your business: business address, time zone (set automatically by country; we don't recommend changing this setting), contact numbers and linked social networks, your store's URL, etc.

In "*Your online store*" you'll need to verify ownership of the domain using one of the available options. If you're already using Google Tag Manager, you can verify through it; otherwise, we recommend using the "Add an HTML tag or a file" option, where you'll need to copy the code snippet shown and send it to the [support](mailto:help@onbolder.com) team.

## Upload your items through the product feed

To make your products visible on Google's platforms, you need to create the feed and upload the inventory with the different items you'll advertise.

From the menu > under Settings and preferences (gear icon), you'll find "Data source". You can also go from the left panel to Your business > your products, to do this first setup (for future updates, go to Data sources).

Since creating this inventory can be a tedious task, or take a lot of time if you do it one by one, or even with a spreadsheet, at Bolder we give you the simplest way! We've prepared a file designed especially for Google Merchant.

To create your feed using your own domain, choose the "Add products from a file" option and enter your custom URL following this example

***Remember to replace "TIENDA" with the real name of your business***

Keep in mind that it's essential to have the titles, descriptions, images and price of each product you'll work with on the platform optimized, so remember to do a general review of the information loaded for each of your products in Bolder.
