title: "Bolder admin panel"
---

The Bolder admin panel is your operations center: the place where you manage and configure every aspect of your store in one spot. From here you have full control over products, orders, customers, content, and general settings, with no advanced technical knowledge required.

This guide gives you an overview of the panel so you can find your way around from day one. Each section we mention here has its own detailed documentation, which you can access as you explore your ecommerce features.

## Accessing the admin panel

To sign in to the admin panel of your Bolder store, follow these steps:

1. Go to your store's URL and add /admin at the end (for example: myecommerce.com/admin) or go to [https://panel.onbolder.com/](https://panel.onbolder.com/)
2. Enter your administrator email and password.
3. Click Sign in.

> **Warning**
>
> **Important:** Only users with the Administrator role have **full access to the panel**.
>
> Depending on your assigned role, you will see different options in the menu.
>
> If you can't sign in, check that your account has the right permissions.

## General structure of the panel

When you sign in, you will find an interface organized into clearly distinct sections. Below, we describe each one.

### Main dashboard (Dashboard)

This is the first screen you see when you sign in. It shows a real-time summary of your store's status: recent sales, pending orders, and key performance metrics. It is your starting point for making quick decisions about daily operations.

### Side navigation menu

The left side menu is the backbone of panel navigation. From here you access all available sections. It is organized by functional categories so you can find what you need intuitively.

**The main sections of the menu are:**

- Products — management of the catalog, variants, inventory, and prices.
- Orders — review, processing, and tracking of orders.
- Customers — database of buyers and their history.
- Content — pages, banners, and editorial elements of your store.
- Settings — general settings for your ecommerce.

> **Warning**
>
> If you have additional features enabled, you will have more options in the side menu.

### Products section

From here you manage your entire catalog: you can add new products, edit existing ones, manage inventory, and set up variants such as sizes, colors, or formats, etc.

### Orders section

Here you manage the full life cycle of your store's orders: from when a purchase is created through shipping and delivery confirmation. You can filter orders by state, date, or customer, and update their progress manually or automatically.

### Customers section

This section gathers the information of everyone who has bought from or created an account in your store. You can review each customer's order history, contact details, and overall activity in your ecommerce.

### General settings

This is the area where you define your store's essential parameters: company details, enabled payment methods, shipping options, integrations with external platforms, and notification preferences, among other things.

> **Warning**

> **Important:** Before making bulk changes to your store settings, we recommend contacting our support team or checking the updated documentation. Some changes could affect how your active features or integrations work.

## Administrator view vs. customer view

The admin panel is a space exclusively for you as the store manager. Your customers never access it, since they only interact with the public interface of your ecommerce.

## Considerations

### Compatibility and requirements

- The panel is optimized for desktop use. Some functions may have a reduced experience on mobile devices.
- The admin panel works with different browsers.
- We recommend using a stable internet connection to avoid interruptions while managing orders or uploading products.

### Best practices

- Always sign out of your administrator session when you finish, especially if you use shared computers.
- Use a strong password and, if available, turn on two-step verification for extra security.
- Periodically review administrator user access and remove accounts that are no longer in use.

### Frequently asked questions

**Can I have more than one administrator in my store?**

Yes. You can create multiple accounts with the Administrator role from the Settings section. Each user will have their own independent access.

**What do I do if I forgot my administrator password?**

On the sign-in screen, click Forgot your password? and enter your email. You will receive a link to reset it.
