title: "Price lists"
---

Price lists let you target promotions to different customer segments through lists

of prices. This lets you turn your store into a B2B platform for wholesale sales or special pricing for selected customers.

A Price List lets you list your products and set prices different from the ones the general public sees in your store.

## Activation and initial setup

To activate this feature:

1. Go to the Bolder admin panel.
2. Go to the section *Addons and Integrations, in the wholesale & B2B category,* and activate **Price lists.** This component is available from the Bolder Standard plan
3. Once active, you can open its settings directly from the side menu, in the Wholesale section: Price lists

## Price list features

When you create a list, you will need to do its general setup

- **List name:** Each list has a name and a unique id.
- **Taxes:** Set whether the product prices already include VAT or whether it will be added later in the purchase process.

Once you enter this information, the list is created and ready for advanced setup.

On the right side of the screen you can change the list name and the tax settings, in case you need to make a correction after creating it.

- **Linked customer group:** Here you can link one or several customer groups that you have already set up (you can also do this from the groups' settings).

- **Add products:** The price list should include all the products a user can access in the wholesale channel.

As a general recommendation, it is a good idea to include all the products available for general sale, unless you have differentiated products (such as different variants of a product).

You can do this one by one with the Add products button, or [through bulk uploads](/en/wholesale-b2b/cambiar-precios-en-listas).

Once you have added products to the list and linked a customer group, you can see the information for each in its corresponding view.

## Products

In the products view you will see the full table of products linked to the list.

Here you will find the product, its variants, and its SKU if it has one. You will also see the information about prices.

- **Public sale price:** The price that all users see when they browse your store publicly. It is set from admin > products > by editing the specific product. In the admin, this price column shows the *regular price* (if there is no sale) or the *sale price* if there is one.
- **Comparison price:** The "sale price" a product can have within the list; this value is shown crossed out next to the list price.
- **List price:** The price the customer will finally pay when placing their order.

The **comparison price** and the **list price** are what your customer sees in the store once they log in with their email and password; if they don't log in, they will only see the public sale price (this applies only to customers assigned to a price list).

## Customers

Since the customers who belong to a list or have access to it are initially set up from the Customer group, in this view you get quick access to search, edit the information of, and remove customers who are part of the list.
