Packaging settings

Description

In the Fulfillments app, inside the settings section, you will find an essential feature that simplifies the process of requesting shipments: “Packaging settings”. This section lets you create and edit packaging templates, which are predefined sets of length, width and height dimensions in centimeters that represent the packages you use most in your shipments. Each template can be given a name that makes it easy to identify when you request a shipment, which makes it much faster to pick the right dimensions.

With packaging templates, you no longer need to enter the same dimensions over and over for each shipment. Just select the right template when you create the shipping label and speed up the process.

Flexibility for specific dimensions

If you need specific dimensions for certain orders, you can still enter the required dimensions manually, keeping the flexibility the process needs.

Available in bulk requests

Just like with individual requests, you can also select several orders from your list for a bulk shipping request. In this process, you can choose to apply the dimensions predefined in your packaging templates or enter the dimensions manually for the selected group. This gives you extra flexibility when sending large volumes, letting you quickly standardize package dimensions or adjust them as needed for each group of shipments.
