Publish and edit pages and posts
Like any website, an online store needs relevant, fresh content to rank well in search engines. In Bolder you can create as many pages as you want and also keep a blog very easily.
You can even create more than one contact form and define the fields and recipients from the admin panel, without having to edit your store’s template.
Differences between a page and a post
Unlike a post, a page normally stays static because it is not subject to timeliness. Pages are usually linked from a site’s menu, for example “About us” or “Shipping policies”.
Posts, on the other hand, are not linked from the menu (although you could do it if you wanted) and instead appear within the Blog section of your store. Like any blog, posts are in reverse chronological order, meaning the newest posts appear on top and push the earlier ones down.
Edit a page
To create a page, open the “Pages and Forms” section in the panel and click “New page”. Then choose the name and confirm, and the page will appear in your store’s page list.
To edit a page you already created, click its title in that section and you will see the editing form. A page has a title and a body, where you can enter HTML by switching from visual mode to code mode (very similar to the WordPress system).
Once you have made your changes, click save.
Create a post
To publish a post, click the Posts item and press the “Add post” button. You will then see a form very similar to the one for pages, since posts also have a title and a body. The only difference is that a post can be left in “draft” state, so it is not shown publicly and you can work at your own pace and save your changes until it is ready to go live.
